A cold front is moving this way and will bring relief. September will start with cooler temperatures and lower humidity. For Thursday and Friday we'll have sunny skies with highs in the 70s. Our dry weather will extend through the holiday weekend. While we will have a benign holiday weekend, Tropical Storm Hermine will soak the southeastern U.S. with 5 to 10 inches of rain. August was a very active month in terms of temperatures, rainfall and tornado producing storms. A break from our volatile weather pattern will continue for central Indiana for the next seven days.
