INDIANAPOLIS - Where do the polls stand with 79 days until the November election? A new poll from Monmouth University shows Hoosiers could be splitting their tickets this election year, with Indiana voters showing support for both Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, and Senate candidate Evan Bayh, a Democrat.

The poll shows Trump has an 11-point lead in Indiana over Democrat Hillary Clinton, 47-36, with Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson earning ten percent of the vote.

Bayh leads Republican candidate Todd Young by seven points, while the race for Governor is virtually tied.

In the video above, the Monmouth University Polling institute director explains the results of the poll, and what it means for this year's election.
