Police investigating drive-by shooting on near north side
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Police say a man is in critical condition after a drive-by shooting Monday on the city’s near north side.
The victim was walking down the street when a red car drove up. Someone inside shot at the victim, striking him in the arm and torso. He then walked until he collapsed at East 23rd Street and Carrollton Ave. around 1:10 p.m.
A passerby called 911 after seeing the man.
The victim was taken to Methodist Hospital in critical but stable condition.
