IMPD investigates northeast side shooting
INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating after they say a person was shot during a robbery on the city’s northeast side early Friday morning.
Officers responded to Wiebeck Court shortly before 4 a.m. after receiving reports of a person down.
When they arrived on scene, officers say they found a person suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police said the man had been down for about 20 minutes before police arrived.
According to police, the victim was transported to Eskenazi hospital in serious condition. He was able to talk to police before going to the hospital.
Police haven’t released any information about a possible suspect in the shooting.
