Hang in there! A break from the heat and humidity is on the way. A cold front will move across central Indiana this evening and cause a few showers over the southeastern part of the state. Behind the front we'll have 48 hours of relief from the oppressive humidity that we've dealt with this week. Our weekend will begin with dry weather before a chance for t-storms arrives late Sunday.
A welcome change will move into the state late tonight.
So far this summer we've had twice as many days with above average highs.
Wednesday was out ninth, 90-degree day of the season.
We'll have two, dry days with lower humidity before more moisture moves in.
We'll have a chance for a few isolated t-storms late Sunday.
Scattered t-storms will be likely Monday.
