Crawfordsville girl, 6, fights brain tumor as she collects Play-Doh for other patients
A 6-year-old Crawfordsville girl is trying to make things more enjoyable for kids inside Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health as she fights a brain tumor.
While going through chemotherapy to battle the tumor (Pilomyxoid Astrocytoma Grade 2), Addilynn Leslie enjoyed playing with Play-Doh. She decided she wanted to give back and collect Play-Doh sets for other children to play with at the hospital.
She recently delivered her first donation! Her mother Andrea Leslie-Peffley said approximately 150 Play-Doh sets and 200 cans of Play-Doh were delivered.
The collection is ongoing, and they plan to make donations every couple of months. Her progress in battling the tumor and collecting Play-Doh can be tracked on this Facebook page.
Anyone wanting to donate Play-Doh can do so by sending it to this address:

Addi is having an MRI in a little over a week, and her mother said they are hoping for “stable” scans.
