Man arrested for breaking into vehicles in Noblesville
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. – A Noblesville man was arrested early Saturday morning after police say he broke into multiple vehicles.
Police responded to the 900 block of Maple Avenue around 12:06 a.m. to investigate a report of a suspicious man walking in the area, trying to open doors to parked vehicles.
The officers began to search the area after receiving a description of the man from the reporter.
At around 12:20 a.m., officers on foot patrol spotted a man matching the description in the 900 block of Hannibal Street. Police say the man was partially inside a 2008 Jeep Wrangler when they attempted to make contact with him.
Police say the man fled, but he was taken into custody after a short foot chase.
The man, who police identified as Justin Hadley, 18, was transported by ambulance to Riverview Health where he was treated for injuries sustained during the arrest.
He was later released and transported to the Hamilton County Jail and booked on a number of preliminary charges, including resisting law enforcement, illegal consumption of alcohol and three charges of unlawful vehicle entry.
