MCCORDSVILLE, Ind. (April 19, 2016) — A truck carrying beer crashed in Hancock County Tuesday morning, blocking U.S. 36/State Road 67 at County Road 600 West.

The truck crashed into a pole and overturned around 5:30 a.m. The driver was OK, according to investigators at the scene. The truck was carrying a full load of bottled and canned beer. Investigators said the driver swerved to avoid another vehicle, lost control at the intersection and then ended up on its side.

The truck is from Monarch Beverage and has a Sun King logo on the trailer. A second truck from the company arrived to pick up the remaining beer for transport.
