INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 15, 2016) – The band Walk the Moon has canceled its Work This Body Tour due to a serious illness in band member Nick Petricca’s family.

“Nick’s dad has been suffering from Early-Onset Alzheimer’s Disease. Unfortunately, it’s reached a point where he needs to come home and focus on his family for a while,” said the band in a Facebook post Friday.

The band will play out the rest of their shows in May, but the shows following are canceled. One of those shows includes a concert at White River State park on July 17.

Refunds are available for those who purchased tickets to that show.
