ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (April 14, 2016) – Zionsville police are still searching for a gunman who allegedly shot a man back in March.

According to police, on March 15 a man knocked on a door in the Austin Oaks subdivision and asked to borrow a set of pliers. The homeowner retrieved the pliers, and as he handed them over, the suspect pulled out a gun. The homeowner and the suspect got into a fight, and the suspect shot the homeowner in the leg.

The suspect then got into his car and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing dark clothing driving an unknown type of vehicle. The suspect is armed with a handgun.
