IMPD says man accused of shooting IFD firefighter is in custody
Jerry Glover took a plea agreement and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. After 8 years, he will be eligible for home detention.
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 12, 2016) – IMPD says the man accused of shooting an Indianapolis firefighter is in custody.
Jerry Glover, 37, was taken into custody without incident Monday afternoon.
Glover was wanted for the March 13 shooting of IFD firefighter Michael “Kevin” Gill. Gill suffered a gunshot wound to the torso and ran to a nearby mosque for help.
Glover’s criminal record includes resisting arrest, cocaine possession and firearms violations. He was convicted twice of possessing a machine gun or bomb and was sentenced to time in prison.
