INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 10, 2016) – The Pacers are back in the NBA postseason after throttling the Nets 129-105 Sunday evening at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The win secured a playoff berth for Indiana (43-37, 7th place Eastern Conference). The team’s final two games will determine seeding, whether seventh or eighth in the conference.

“It didn’t feel right last year, being home in the middle of April,” said forward Paul George after the win. “It feels good this time around that we have the opportunity to make a run.”

“We expected to make the playoffs,” added head coach Frank Vogel. “If anything, I feel like it’s a little overdue.”

“Taking this long is part of an NBA season when we had everything going on that we had this year.”

Rookie Myles Turner led the Pacers against the Nets with 28 points and 10 rebounds. Solomon Hill also recorded a double-double, tallying 13 points and 12 boards. Also scoring in double figures were George Hill (18), Ian Mahinmi (16), and Paul George (16).

“We’re as confident in ourselves as any group in the playoffs right now,” said George.

“I’ve said all along, I’ve felt like we can do some real damage this year (in the playoffs),” said Vogel. “We’re gonna find that out very soon.”
