Two New Castle men accused of holding man captive at gunpoint, beating him up
NEW CASTLE, Ind. (March 28, 2016) – Two New Castle men were arrested after they allegedly held a man captive at gunpoint, forced him to take off his clothes, beat him up, and threatened to kill him.
The alleged incident happened in the 3000 block of S. Spiceland Pike on November 13.
According to court documents, the victim told police that Jason E. Thompson, 38, and Joseph T. Davis, 37, choked, punched, and slapped him while they held a gun to his head over a 45-minute period.
The victim told police he was able to get away when Thompson and Davis left after taking his cell phone, wallet and the keys to his truck.
Thompson was charged with criminal confinement, intimidation, aiding in the commission of pointing a firearm, and battery.
Davis was charged with criminal confinement, intimidation, pointing a firearm, and battery.
