Police search for four men who pistol-whipped cashier, stole cash and tobacco

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 21, 2016) – Police are searching for four men who robbed a Speedway in the 6300 block of Rockville Road and pistol-whipped a cashier.

According to police, the incident happened Tuesday, March 8 around 2:40 a.m. Four men entered the business, dragged the clerk to the register, and demanded money. The clerk told the men he could not open the registers, and one man pistol-whipped him, causing a deep laceration to the back of his head.

The men took cash and tobacco products and fled the scene northbound on foot.

The firs suspect is described as a black male wearing an orange mask, a black sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes, and armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.

The second suspect was wearing a black stocking cap, a white sweatshirt over a black hoodie, tan pants, and black shoes.

The third suspect was wearing a dark hoodie with white drawstrings, black pants, and white shoes.

The fourth suspect was wearing a black hoodie with a design and writing on the front, red pants, and white shoes.
