Morning clouds will give way to afternoon sunshine today. Unseasonably warm temperatures will continue today and tomorrow.
We're closely watching a storm originating in the west that will bring blizzard conditions to the Plains today. Much of Nebraska and Iowa are under Blizzard warnings for 12-18" of snow and 50 mph winds. The heavy snow will stay to the north of central Indiana.
Instead, we're looking at a severe weather risk for Tuesday afternoon and evening. There is an enhanced risk further south, but along the I-70 corridor and points south are in a SLIGHT risk on Tuesday. Damaging winds will be our primary threat. We can also expect around 0.75" of rain.
Colder air will move in behind this system with a few flurries possible on Wednesday. Our temperatures will then be closer to average through the weekend.
