Good Wednesday morning everyone! The clouds lingered overnight and will remain with us for most of the day, allowing a few peeks of sunshine this afternoon. You could also see a few flurries in the morning hours. Temperatures are starting off seasonal in the 20s and will warm into the low to mid 30s.
As a disturbance passes north of the area overnight some light snow is possible in the northern half of the state. Thursday will be a little warmer with highs climbing to 40º in the afternoon! We will see a little more sunshine during the day with partly sunny skies and another batch of light snow will develop in the evening hours.
The weekend is looking very warm and windy. Afternoon highs reaching the lower 50s! Southerly winds will remain strong on Saturday & Sunday, 10 to 20 mph. On Sunday our next system starts to move into the state bringing rain chances with it.
Temperatures will remain above normal for the start of the week. You will want to keep the umbrellas handy as rain chances continue through Wednesday.
