Police: Alcohol likely a factor in fatal crash on northwest side
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Jan. 18, 2016) – A fatal crash is under investigation on the northwest side of Indianapolis.
The crash was reported around 5:45 a.m. at 46th Street and Moller Road and involved two vehicles.
A car going east on 46th Street was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crossed the center line, hitting another vehicle. The driver of the car that crossed the center line died, while two passengers in his vehicle were taken to Eskenazi Hospital in good condition.
The other driver, identified as Anderson Henderson-Garci, 20, Indianapolis, suffered minor injuries, police said.
Investigators said the driver who died in the crash may have been under the influence and cited alcohol as a likely factor.
