The coldest air of the season is here and the bitter cold will stay with us for another 24 hours. Over the next four days temperatures will moderate but central Indiana will remain below freezing until this weekend. Two storm systems will bring snow our way this week. The first storm system will bring a 1-3" accumulation Wednesday morning. A stronger storm approaching from the south will bring another chance for accumulating snow late Thursday into Friday.
Low temperatures will fall to near and below zero overnight.
In the case of snowfall, so far we are ahead of last year's pace.
Temperatures will moderate this week.
The not-quite-so-cold temperatures will give the Indy Snow Force a better chance to clear our roads this week.
Snow will accumulate Wednesday morning.
More snow is likely late Thursday.
Snow will accumulate on Friday.
