More snow overnight and subzero temperatures on the way; Winter Weather Advisory in effect

More snow will move across the state overnight. Snow showers will be heavy at times and we'll have winds gusting to  40 miles per hour. That will cause blowing and drifting snow.  Heavy snow will continue through the morning rush hour and the snow will taper off during the day. Colder air will move in in waves behind the snow and more snow is likely this weekend.

Low temperatures will fall into the teens overnight and will rise slightly after Midnight.

Advisory

We have a snow advisory in effect for the eastern half of Indiana through Noon Tuesday.

Snow is likely across Indiana this evening.

Gusty winds will cause blowing and drifting of snow overnight.

A heavy band of wind whipped snow will move across the state during the Tuesday morning rush hour.

A total of 1-3" of snow is likely by Noon Tuesday.
