INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Jan. 6, 2016)–  An Indianapolis man was sentenced to 104 years Wednesday for his role in a violent home invasion and assault in September 2013.

Ryan Clark is currently serving a 40-year sentence for his involvement in two gas station robberies and a fatal shooting. His sentences will be served consecutively.

In December 2015, Clark was convicted of 21 counts including rape, criminal deviate conduct, burglary, robbery and criminal confinement. Clark and Shayne Thompson entered a family’s east side home near 21st Street and Post road on Sept. 18, 2013.

A mother was sexually assaulted at gun point in front of her husband and children.

“At the age of 19, Ryan Clark committed crimes that will in all likelihood result in his entire adult life spent in prison,” Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry said. “This sentence is an appropriate reaction to a week of unimaginable violence perpetrated by Clark and Shayne Thompson, including the assault and robbery of a family in their own home followed just days later by the senseless killing of Evalide Ndyiae.”

On Sept. 25, 2013, Ndyiae was fatally shot by Thompson while working at a gas station.

The gas station was robbed by Clark, Thompson and Janai Hudson.

Less than an hour later, another robbery took place in the 7100 block of North Keystone Avenue.

Thompson is serving a 110-year sentence for his role in the robberies, Ndyiae’s death and the home invasion. Hudson is serving a 15-year executed sentence.
