Boilers leap five spots to No. 16 in AP Poll

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (November 23, 2015) – Purdue basketball jumped from No. 21 up to No. 16 in this week’s Associated Press Men’s Basketball Poll after a victory in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-off.

The Boilers (5-0) five-spot leap was tied for third-largest in the poll, behind Miami (16 from 35 to 15), Xavier (12 from 35 to 23), and Michigan State (10 from 13 to 3).

Indiana rose one spot, up to No. 13, and will begin the Maui Invitational Monday evening against unranked Wake Forest.

Butler fell out of the poll from No. 22 after a loss in the Puerto Rico Tip-off championship game to Miami.
