(November 2, 2015) – An Uber passenger was arrested after attacking a driver. And it was all caught on dashboard camera.

According to Uber driver Edward Caban, he picked up a passenger near Newport Beach who was incredibly intoxicated.

When Caban asked the passenger for the address, he refused and insisted on telling Caban where to turn.

Caban says the passenger then began swearing at him, and Caban no longer felt comfortable driving the man. He turned into a well-lit shopping center and asked the man to get out of the car.

The passenger began arguing with Caban, and Caban told him that if he didn’t get out of the car he would call police.

That’s when the passenger began beating Caban, grabbing his hair and shoving his face into the window. The attack was caught on the dashboard camera.

According to KNBC, Caban immediately called police after attack, and when police arrived at the scene they found the passenger vomiting on the sidewalk.

Benjamin Golden, 32, was arrested on public intoxication and assault charges.
