Thieves steal hundreds of dollars of meat from Indianapolis Pizza Hut

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (October 19, 2015) – Indianapolis police are searching for two men who they say stole hundreds of pounds of meat worth hundreds of dollars from an east side Pizza Hut.

The incident occurred on September 23 around 2:35 a.m. at the store in the 1800 block of South Emerson Avenue. Police say two white males broke into an outside freezer and stole all the meat inside of it.

The list of stolen items includes: 10 pounds of cheese, 16 bags of boneless chicken wings, 16 bags of bone-in chicken wings, 40 pounds of beef, 40 pounds Italian sausage, 17.5 pounds of meatballs, 20 pounds of chicken strips, 20 pounds of bacon, 75 pounds of pepperoni, and 10 pounds of salami.

In total, the thieves stole $715.82 worth of meat.

A description of the suspects is not available at this time.
