CBS4Indy is excited to team up with the Indianapolis Colts and Teachers’ Treasure to help students in Central Indiana!
On Monday, Sept. 21 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., we’ll collect school supplies from Colts fans to benefit Teachers’ Treasures. Monetary donations also will be accepted. Donations will be collected at the Colts Community Collection Stations, presented by Toyota, located outside each Lucas Oil Stadium gate.
If you can’t make it to the game but want to help, text “PENCILS” to 52000 to donate $10 to Teachers’ Treasures. For each dollar you donate, Teachers’ Treasures is able to provide $15 in school supplies to Indianapolis students in need.
Teachers’ Treasures is a nonprofit charitable organization established in 2000. The organization offers teachers supplies such as paper, pencils, erasers, crayons, various art supplies, books, and some classroom furniture. In the last 15 years, Teachers’ Treasures has distributed over $39 million worth of free school supplies to Marion County schools.
