Police seek armed robbers who struck at Mooresville Wendy’s

MOORESVILLE, Ind. (Aug. 12, 2015) – Mooresville police are looking for a pair of armed robbers who held up a Wendy’s restaurant Tuesday afternoon.

Mooresville police officers were called to the location at 300 State Road 144 around 3:10 p.m. after the robbery was reported.

Two men armed with guns entered the business and demanded money from employees. After getting the cash, they left the scene.

The first suspect wore a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, gray gloves and sunglasses. He also had a white bandana and dreadlocks.

The second suspect wore a black jacket, black jeans and gray gloves. He had a purple bandana covering his face and a white knit cap on his head.

Witnesses said the men left in a late 1990s SUV that was in “rough condition.” It had decals on the side of the windshield and the passenger said.

While employees were shaken up, no one was hurt during the theft.
