Surveillance image of man wanted in auto theft and fraud investigation

HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. (July 21, 2015) – Police are looking for a man in connection with an auto theft and fraud case.

On June 10, a Ford Escape was stolen from Hancock County. Indianapolis Metropolitan police later found the vehicle at 3556 Pixley Court on the east side of Indianapolis. On June 11, a man used a credit card stolen from the vehicle at a Marathon gas station located at 9950 E. 38th St. The card was also used at Macy’s in Castleton Square Mall, police said.

Surveillance cameras captured an image of the man.

Tipsters remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward of $1,000.
