Police: Three suspects steal elderly woman’s credit cards, go on shopping spree

(July 20, 2015) – The Boone County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in Identifying three subjects wanted for theft and fraud.

On May 23, a male suspect stole four credit cards from an elderly woman’s purse while she watched a movie at the Landmark Theater at Keystone at the Crossing. The theft took place between 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

At 2:40 p.m., a woman purchased $1500 worth of pre-paid credit cards with the elderly woman’s VISA card at the Circle K gas station at East 96th Street and I-69.

That same day at 6:45 p.m., the male in the blue shirt and hat used the elderly woman’s credit card to purchase $1528 worth of clothing at Macy’s at Castleton.

The man wearing the white Under Armor hat accompanied the other two subjects at the Circle K.
