Anderson police officer charged with OWI after being arrested in Noblesville
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (July 20, 2015)– An Anderson police officer was arrested in Noblesville on July 2, and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Christopher Hoyle, 45, was stopped on July 2 around 1 a.m. after an officer observed him weaving in lanes and crossing the center dotted line. The officer pulled him over and noticed the odor of alcohol. Hoyle also had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes.
Hoyle told the officer that he had been at Klipsch Music Center, where he drank “a couple beers.” Hoyle failed field sobriety tests. His blood-alcohol content registered at .119.
