Confirmed EF1 tornado hit Putnam County according to NWS

PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind. (July 14, 2015) – The National Weather Service confirmed an EF1 tornado hit Putnam County Monday night.

An NWS survey revealed 90 mph winds hit the northeast tip of the Heritage Lake area around 9:25 p.m.

This is the second confirmed tornado to come out of Monday night’s severe weather.
