(July 7, 2015) – Forget about the #CharlieCharlieChallenge and the Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge—the latest teen social media trend has arrived.

Introducing the #DontJudgeChallenge, which was trending Monday on Instagram and Twitter. Here’s how it works: teens make themselves “unattractive” and then show what they look like in real life.

The trend is supposed to criticize body shaming, but some are criticizing the challenge itself, saying it only reinforces beauty stereotypes.
