Police investigate two people shot, one person killed on east side of Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 3, 2015) –Police are investigating two people shot and one person killed on the east side of Indianapolis.
The shooting occurred just before 10 p.m. Friday night near the corner of East 16th Street and North Dequincy Street.
Police say they found 24-year-old Bobby Williams Jr. with a gunshot wound to the chest in an alley near that intersection. He was taken to Eskenazi in critical condition and is undergoing surgery.
Authorities found 24-year-old Sharrod Crowe shot multiple times in a detached garage nearby. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say there was forced entry into the garage.
So far police have no suspects and are unsure if the two shootings are connected.
