UPDATE: Cicero woman, 64, dies after car, box truck crash in Noblesville

NOBLESVILLE (June 2, 2015) – Emergency crews in Noblesville were on scene after a serious crash involving an injury.

It happened around 11 a.m. at Campus Parkway and Bergen Boulevard, according to the Noblesville Fire Department.

The crash involved a passenger car and a box truck. According to Noblesville police, it appeared the car was going south on Bergen Boulevard when a cargo truck going westbound hit it.

Fire units extracted one person, who was taken to St. Vincent in Fishers before being taken by air ambulance to St. Vincent in Indianapolis in critical condition. The truck driver was not hurt, police said.

The driver of the car, later identified as 64-year-old Betty Pritchard of Cicero, Ind., was pronounced dead shortly after arriving to St. Vincent.

The crash remains under investigation.
