Home full of “stuff” slows fire crews ability to put out fire
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (January 24, 2015) — Indianapolis Fire Department crews say they were hindered in getting a house fire under control because the house was full of “stuff”.
Officials say they were called to the 1800 block of West 57th Street around 5:30 Saturday evening for a house fire.
The home had fire coming from the basement when they arrived, but they were slowed in getting the fire under control because the home was full of “debris”.
No one was home at the time of the fire but neighbors say an elderly woman lives in the home.
