(Jan. 18, 2015) - At the Colts Grille downtown, it was at least a two-and-a-half hour wait to get in before kickoff.
By the third quarter, fans started to leave.
“It's gonna be a blue Monday,” Nichole Brown said. “I'm feeling very blue right now."
Enthusiasm ran through the veins of fans throughout the game.
Predictions ranged from a Colts blowout to a small overtime victory.
“We are going to kill the Patriots,” Brandie Brown said before the game started. “We have to. There’s too much Colts love in this house tonight.”
As the minutes passed, the nerves set in.
“Die hard Colts fan,” Marshall Brattain said. “I will never doubt them, but it’s not going to be an easy one.”
Levi Emmert predict it would “go down to the last two minutes.”
Yet as the score ran up, fans held their heads high, already brushing aside Sunday’s loss, looking strictly to another season.
“Disappointed,” Devin Brown said. “But overall I think it was a good season. Andrew Luck definitely one of the top quarterbacks.”
